1999 C43

Leather Dye color for '99 C43

Hi all,

I'm looking to dye the leather in my C43, I have the two tone (grey/black), but I need the factory name for the greyish color. Does anyone know? Thanks guys.

interesting stuff on the site, but no help with a color match. Has anyone attempted to dye the seats on a C43 before?

I've redyed countless interiors. What did you want to know? Here is some info on it. That page on my site has a link to the Color Plus website, which has photos of of swatches of the standard leather colors for 1980 and newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Was that what you're looking for? Lastly, those are not all the colors available from Surflex.

here is plate on top radiator support for my 99 E320. note paint code IDs.
note also that for different years, it is possible that the number be repurposed
to ID another paint/color, so if you are using some online touch-up paint vendor,
be sure you match the year also.

note also (free of charge to NoAm folks with credit cards verification) STAR TekInfo's EPC-net offers this IDing of parts,
color, etc after you enter your VIN. there used to be a russian site doing
similar but it hasn't worked for months.
