C36 wiring harness.... How much is it and is there good supply at this time?

My mechanic told me my C36 and 500 both needed replacement, he said the 500 was terrible so I swapped that out a month ago. The symptoms I was experiencing on that car was intermittent ASR, Misfire... Occasionally on my C36 the CEL light will come on then go off, bit of rough idle and RPM sometime goes a little wacky at low speeds.
What have you guys experienced with the bad harness? Do not want to fry my ECU.

1995 c36
thanks to startekinfo.com I was able to locate wiring schematic (for a small fee 24 hrs cost like 18 bucks....) for my c36 which showed which wires go where and so now I'm ready to pull the harness and repair with all new wires. Like hell I'm paying a dealer $1800 when it's their F-up anyway. I only paid $2500 for the car- which was a smokin deal and she's respectable enough- BUT, money isn't the issue. I want the total investment to be cheap. Cheap is fun.... less serious..... less obsession.

yea my transmission is always tweaky... rough shifts and doesnt engage when i press hard on the gas (it tries to downshift but ends up just neutral reving)
So youre saying this asr+abs could be transmission related and not wiring harness related?
