CEL: Code P1170
Hi guys, so I posted a few days back that my car was running sluggish and getting like 11-13mpg. I have been getting a code for my EGR occasionally but think this issue is unrelated. Now I am pulling a code#1170 for short trim fuel malfunction. My good buddy thinks its my MAF, I installed a brand new Bosch about 8k miles ago! I must say the car does feel like its a MAF or O2 related issue. I sprayed some CRC on the MAF w/ no results. Should I just bite the bullet and buy another one, debating on purchasing a used one so I can more or less test it out.
Is there an easy way to test a MAF? Has anyone else thrown this code and if so what was the culprit?
