C36 oil change questions..
So I'm going to be doing the first oil change on my new beast myself. How many quarts and what kind of oil do you guys recommend? Car has 139,000 miles.

oh, and anything else I should know before I get into it other than replacing the oil and filter would be also appreciated.

8 qts of Mobil 1 0w-40! Only way to do it.
only other thing to recommend is to make sure you have the proper size tool to remove the cap of the oil filter housing. It's the cap at the back right (drivers) of the engine bay, right next to the engine

Was not designed for 0W-40 mobil1 synthetic.
10w40 Conventional oil in your 3.6 liter M104 engine.
Synthetic is for FSS designed engines that have longer change intervals and fleece filters.
No need to be dumping synthetic oil at the shorter change intervals your 1995 engine requires. And no need creating the common leaks that running synthetic oils create in an M104 with 140K miles on it.
