Found a 2000 C43...

Its bone stock - silver with 60k miles!

It was sitting in the service drive of the local Maserati/Ferrari dealer...

Found the owner, and he was a very nice guy - and yes, he is the original owner. He was picking up his MC Stradale.

I got his number, and am going to try to meet up with him, and check out his car more thoroughly. Might even make an offer...

Speaks volumes of the W202 AMG when folks want one again, after selling their C36/43 yrs ago.

I just recently bought another C36 myself.

FWIW- I looked long for a low mileage 2000 C43 as its got the transmission that was in our old 2004 ML350 and they're pretty bulletproof w/ + - shifting...which in all honesty is still lame, but cool to have.

Gave up the search, but man I hope you end up with it ! that would be amazing to own a 60K example....and silver is the fastest color ! hence the phrase " silver arrow " .

Take pics when you go see it. GL.

Might be selling my 2000 C43...not sure... Just added an 09 MCS, so five cars is getting to be a bit much.

I have forever been a fan of the w202 body style, and the C43 is such a fantastic car. So simple, yet feature packed (for the year) and just a joy to drive. if you hold it in 2nd up to 3.5k and plant your foot it really has a nice kick to it and redlines nice and quick.

looking forward to jumping in to drive to work tomorrow
