Shorter Lug Bolt Options

I'm looking to get shorter lug bolts to replace my stock bolts in the rear. I want to get rid of my 10mm spacers (which prevent the bolts from going into the e-brake) I'm using with my wheels so I can eliminate the rubbing in the rear.

So basically, I need a bolt that's ~10mm shorter in the shank. Also, I've noticed some bolts on eBay, etc where the entire shank is threaded (compared to our stocks that have a section not threaded); would having threads the whole length of the shank hurt?

Anyone on here rocking shorter bolts?

Edit:
If I'm correct, stock bolts are 12x1.5x39mm with 17mm head.

What I'm looking for are 12x1.5x~30mm.

I was doing shorter bolts with my Brabus reps. This happened after trying the ones the company I bought the wheels from supplied me with, which were too long, and went through the hub and into the parking brake stuff, ripping allllll that up. I couldn't tell you where I ended up getting the correct ones from. I do remember I had to look around quite a bit and ended up with 3 or 4 sets of lug bolts. Just measure 4-5 times, and bolt up once

If you happen to remember/find out where you got those lugs from, it'd be much appreciated. Haven't found any that have shank lengths posted.

I assume that you are using replica and non MB wheels, because all the OE wheels I have seen use the same length (longer) bolt. Have you tried the bolts used for steel wheels, I know they are way shorter, but probably too short. Otherwise have a look with these people in the UK: http://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/
They supplied my last set of non-rusting bolts and lockers and they have a screw thread all the length of the bolt

Yes, I'm rocking aftermarket OEM replicas. I haven't looked into the bolts for steelies. Our stock bolt shank length is 39/40mm, correct?

I'll look into that site you posted. GBP to USD conversion is not very good for me though. lol

Is thread the whole length of the shank ok? I'm curious as to why MB didn't do that for ours.

eclectic assortment of cars
I suppose you could always cut down the bolts you have already. I did this once for my Saab, years ago, when I fitted aftermarket wheels. At the time, the only available bolts were spec'd for Mercedes, so off I went and had my machinist cut them down. I remember very clearly thinking at the time "do people really mod their Mercedes? Those are old man cars" and now I have two of them, one pretty modified. LOL.

Wow, great selection! Thanks for the recommendation, but I just bought some from a place in LA yesterday (they were zinc-plated too).

But this place definitely has a nice selection.
