why does this c43 look so weird?

Looks like a regular update 202 with a C43 muffler and some painted seats. If this is indeed a C43 (no engine pictures in the ad) it is one that is really butchered. Looks more like a bad attempt at a C43 replica.

Looks very much like a C43 look alike. Definitely not a 43 not unless it had an accident and the owner replaced the front, rear bumpers with the "Esprit" body kit instead of OE AMG items. The side skirt look very much w202 base version. My C240T is an Esprit version so I know the look. Definitely need to look under the hood to see if an M113 is sitting there, etc., etc.

Those are not C43 seats, the ////AMG logo is missing on the cluster, the bumpers and side skirts are not C43 either. Pretty much the only thing that resembles a C43 are mono blocks... It also has a sport badge on the side, I don't think U.S. C43's came with this.

That's definitely a stock w202 with a fake cluster and C36 seats with chrome monos on it.
I emailed him saying this:
That's not a C43. Those are C36 seats, non-AMG body kit, and the cluster is not even an authentic cluster. Don't fool people

Something is weird... For some reason this car looks familiar and it is not because I fly out to Las Vegas often... I think that this just may be MBWorld member car however I do not know who. I can tell you one thing that it is not even close to being an AMG... Not even a W202 AMG. Chances are it is a C280 Sport or C230K Sport with the two tone interior and was made to look like a C43. Thats great but please dont try to scam people and pass it off as a AMG to get what? Like $3,000 more. Its not worth the time in court or in jail.

It does have the big brakes if you pay close attention to the first picture and where the caliper is behind the front wheel. I dont think small rotors found on regular 202s would bring the caliper out that far

Reminds me of when I was in college and went to see a VW GTI. It had the GTI badge...but that was it. It was a plain jane Rabbit....but the guy selling it was animate that it was a real GTI. At least with this car it will have the V8 or it wont.

remus never made an exhaust for c36 or c43 so this is a fake everything on that car is fake it's a c230k or c280 v6, with face lift bumpers remus exhaust painted pre facelift seats and 18inch amg wheels in chrome notice the broken cluster the digital screen is broken. Do people really buy cars like this without noticing it isn't a c43 ? ps I hate sellers like this guy wanne snap his sh*t up ;p

Hmmm... definitely looks quite fishy. From what I can tell though, those are definitely the post-facelift seats. The ones on my C36 looked NOTHING like that and the white and black ones in my 43 look exactly like that. I can see him taking the white and blacks and making them "custom" grey and blacks. But I do not see the air-seat adjuster in the interior pic. The cluster I can understand the LCDs because it happens to all of those types of MB screens. The part that sketches me out is the lack of "AMG" on it and the fact that the odometers are both completely blank...

Your c43 seats have a different stitch pattern and dont look like those at all. Those are stock w202 seats and cluster found in facelifted w202s(98-2000 but I think only in c230K sport models).
