C43 with 5.8 Liter Brabus
For $70K. WTF. I think I saw the same car for sale a few years back in Orange County for $15K.

TJMJR is the last owner & had a thread in 2009 about it. Car was listed for $12K before he bought it. He must be just testing the waters. Depending on additional work he did since the car had high mileage, I'm open to buying it, but not for $70K. I say $15K.

Maybe his wife told him he has to sell the car so he just put a ridiculous price up there so he doesn't really have to sell it. So he is obligated to list the car but he'll just let it sit!

No W202.. No C class is worth $70,000 let alone one that 13+ years old. I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say he ment $17,000 "cash" but even at $17,000 he is hard pressed. Regardless of the engine its still a old C43 and no one will shell out close to what this person is asking. The interior looks like a normal W202 to me and other then wheels and engine it does not appear to have much else. Also if this car is so special why not post more pics of it in the for sale ad? I personlly think its a I dont really care to sell it ad or the buyer just simply has no clue what they are driving...

Posting has been deleted by author on CL. No response from my offer & stating that it was the same C43 (C58) for sale in '09 although seller stated it's not. Nevertheless, I'm interested for the right price. The seller is probably on this board.

maybe it wasnt even the owner that posted that add? I think this because I saw these same pics a few years ago why would you try to sell a very rare car with cheap old pics? and about the value this car cost about 15k/30k in europe

Gentlemen, I assure you that I did not create the listing that you are referring to. I still own the BRABUS and I have no intention of selling it. The listing has since been deleted and I did not get a chance to see the photo that was used, so I'm afraid that I cannot confirm nor deny if it was a photo of my car, but I would be surprised if there was another one in existence.
