bad things about them is when the chrome begins to fade getting white stains, they are impossible to buff off, it looks like someone jerked off on the chrome strips leaving stains behind.
I will email a german MB dealer and ask for price

I have a "cheapish" ebay insert on my C240T since three years now. The 240 is my daily work horse, so it gets used intensively all winter too with all the salt around and it looks like new.

mine is absolutely horrid. the chrome lateral slits slide all over the place making obvious, embarrassing gaps. it's completely incapable of being centered, and just has a damned cheap look and feel to it up close.
more than 20 feet away? hard to tell a difference. I've got the same insert on my C43 and my w124. It's awful and if I could afford it, I'd go OEM true avant garde.

The 2000's with the tiptronic shifter, shift the same. The transmissions are the same, it's just a different way to manually shift the trans if desired.
Headlight wipers are bomb!!
When i was looking for my c43's, the xenon lighting package along with the wipers was a very heavy consideration during my shopping.. I would have maybe bought one without if everything else was just perfect, but it wouldn't have been cool! I've always said i'll never buy another car without factory premium sound system, or without xenons. My headlight wipers work great with no problem.
Also the hoods are the same on 2000's.
You must have missed the post, this car was sold... to a damn canuck too! Haha just teasing canada guy. As a Minnesotan I am obligated.

I think I read some place where the transmission are different.
The 2000's with the tiptronic shifter, shift the same. The transmissions are the same, it's just a different way to manually shift the trans if desired.
