Upgrades for c43
Another question is about the original c43 muffler. Is the car worth more with the c43 muffler, or should I try to get a flowmaster system?
Should I keep all stock c43 parts like wheels and things?
Thanks everybody.

The stock C43 is a great looking car, in Euro specs at least
The N. American version has higher suspension which makes the vehicle look like a SUV.If you like the stock and discreet look (except the N.Amercan suspension) keep it as it is, but a set of 18" Monos will compliment the stock look.
An Avantgarde grille gives a more modern and clean look, but please, please don't put a grille with a big Star in it

Removal of the Star on the hood and replacing it with either a flat MB badge or AMG one (beware of cheap quality copies) is a popular mod. Personally after having lived with both the Star and the flat badges, I like the Star finally and may revert to it during the car's hibernating months next winter.
Under the engine hood a +300hp engine is an already serious item. You can install 2 good filters (Green or other reputable makes) which will increase slightly the intake noise and give a nice bonus to the engine's intake breathing. Don't except any significant hp increase with this mod except those measured through your butt

If you want more growl from the engine and as the AMG should have sounded when leaving the Factory, the exhaust can be modified with removal of the secondary cats and the central muffler/resonator. Don't remove the rear muffler as this gives the distinct AMG sound. This mod will definitely improve overall engine breathing. If you want lesser exhaust growl, just remove the central muffler/resonator and leave the secondary cats, something like Kowalski has recently done, See here: https://mbworld.org/forums/c36-amg-c...on-2013-a.html
If you want more power, the only reasonably priced solution is to go for an engine swap and get installed a 5,4lt M113 called the 55 engine. AMG should have installed that engine as stock and worked the internals with rods and some cams instead of doing that on the 4,3 engine. Otherwise your wallet will be your limiting factor. So get out and enjoy the car, read plenty of threads on here and ask questions before going ahead with mods which finally could be costly and you may not like at the end
