New C36 owner, Very happy with the purchase.

Hi, Guys. I recently bought a 95 C36 from a member here. Drove it for days. Now i like it better than my 04 E55. Very fun little car. Great handling. How do you guys like the wheels in the pic? It looks more like a JDM style to me. I'd like to put a set of monoblock on to make it looks more classic. Also when i bought it,The car has some clear/white corner light which makes it more like a jdm car. not really like it, so i ordered a pair of original amber corner, looks a lot better now.

I'm not feeling the rims....especially in white. I also vote for 18" monoblocks. Are the front fogs blacked out or missing?

The previous owner had a nice set BBS/AMG 2 piece monoblock on the car. But he replace it with the w209 clk wheels on which is what i have now. He also told me there was some rub issue when he got 3 passenger as well as some big speed bump. Questions for all ya c36 with 18"s. Have you guys experience any rub issue at all? should i stick with 17" or go big 18" Any input are appreciated.

I like the monoblock myself. But it is kind of hard to find a nice used set.i will keep looking for it. The bumper lights was missing when i bought it. lucky me, i found a pair of bumper light on craiglist yesterday. have got a chance to put them on yet.

Thanks guys. It is about a month after i bought my c36. I had refresh the c 36 a little bit. Here is the list i had done to the car. Installed the missing lower bumper grill. bumper lights, updated look headlights (97+ model), headlights wiper, paint touch up, and i had pastidip spary the roof to matt black, But it didnt turn out really nice, looks cheap to me, So i peel it off, Got some carbon fiber look vine vinyl. i managed to put it on, it was somewhat a hard job to me. but it turns out a lot better looking than the pastidip matt black roof, Since i have some vinyl left, so i did the grill as well.
Here are some new pictures. Now i am only needing a set of AMG monos to put on to finish the original classic look.

Best looking car in Red, beauty! Not too sure about the carbon fiber on the roof, if you ask me the side pillars do their job. Car looks great, just my two cents.

Well. the reason i did the carbon fiber roof is because the clear coat on the roof was peel off on lots of areas.
here is a close shot of the grill

Totally understandable, it's starting to happen around my side mirrors.

What kind of suspension are you running? It sits nice!

The 97+ headlights looks sharper and more clear then older style headlights. the beam pattern are different. and 97+ lights use H7 lights bulbs. the fog lights are integrated in the low beam housing. the older style lights has the fog lights located separate from the low beam housing, which located in the inner side of the headlights, closed to the grill. For the high beam in 97+ are located where the old style fog lights location.

Does anybody have a comparison picture of the two?
