12' W204 C63 AMG coupe "T-Rex", 12' W451 Smart Fortwo Pulse (99' W202 C43 AMG sold)
Looks great apart from the SUV stance but thats the North American way

I wonder why the battery was changed 3 times since new: 2000, 2003, 2009 with checks on the electrical system. A electric bug or is it because the vehicle stood idle for long periods? Something to think about and check.

Id easily bet it was sitting for long periods of time, that's why the battery had to be replaced

Actually a car this old with so few miles would turn me down... Think about all the (rubber) lines and hoses that have barely been used in 15 years... No thanks. I'd rather have a well maintained car with 50-100K miles. My 0.02 cents

give the dealer an offer he can't refuse
then change to fresh hoses and then car will be good to go again.
hoses are armored on these cars, the handle alot of heat not to crack

Excellent point. Amazing that letting a car sit is harder on it than driving it. IMHO cars especially German cars are meant to be driven!

I offered the dealer $12k on a Wed afternoon…car sold Thursday morning for full asking price.

Should have paid the extra $3k.

Would have loved to own it.

sorry for your lost!

btw, your c43 you had before it was totalled.
IIRC that car was rear-ended when you just went out from the dealership after you bought your car?
was that a black c43?

I wouldn't sweat it. I love the c43, but that's too much to pay, IMHO.

Low mileage doesn't bother me if the car is driven and maintained regularly.

Really? Considering buying a new one with that mileage, what is that going to cost you? Take into consideration that it is 15 years old with 6k miles, its a bargain even at $15.000 for sure. Would take you 10 years or so break in 100k miles while our C43s probably would hit 250k miles or more in that same time span. It all depends on buyer and AMG knowledge. If the car is babied like this its gonna be worth alot of money when it becomes a classic.
