Location of Secondary Air/ Check Valve

Hello All,

I'm replacing my Secondary Air Pump for the 2nd time in the past 5 months and it looks as though my check valve is at fault, it keeps dumping water into my pump and frying it. I was hoping to find out the location of this part and see if there is anything that would need to be replaced, if someone could offer some feedback it would be appreciated!

I think you mean Ex. shutt-off valve,

If it not been canceled, it's suppost to be under the Air mass pipe, above the Ex. manifold....!!

Thank you, I believe it's faulty and water keeps getting in my pump.

Maybe it gets more dirty, or its gasket goes bad, do you try to open it & see it from inside.....??

No I have not, it's very cold here right now, but I will look into it when things warm up. This might explain why I also have a code 0400 since this is related to the EGR, I thought it was the clogged tube. I also have a code 0411 which is for the faulty pump. If the new shut-off valve cures my 0400 code that has been on for years now I will be very happy!

Clogged EGR cause problems to emission system, don't leave it longer, let some air to fresh the Engine.....

I think we don't have those air cleaning and pollution control things on the European versions (bit pump thing on the top and front of the engine). Less things to go wrong
