winks911 just a question when you had your euro springs did you install it yourself? if you did how can you tell which end of the springs goes on the bottom?

I'm installing these euro springs on Sunday replacing my vogtlands..on the springs I have one end have the part # stamped and there's an indent close to the tip, is this the end that goes on the bottom or top ..if you or anyone in the forum knows pls help a brother.

Thanks

If you look at the spring the top will be more flat than the bottom.
As far as I can remember .

I know what you mean about one end is flatter this was the case on my vogtland in which the pad sits flat. But, this is not the case with the euro springs that i have both end has the same flare and when I place the pads it's on an angle...the only difference like I mentioned is one end have the part # stamped and an indent .25 inch on the side of the tip of the spring

front springs part # 210 321 22 04
rear springs part # 210 324 34 04

I'll check in my workshop later as I still have the original springs I removed when I went the KW route.

So, I looked at the springs and can confirm there is no flat spot top or bottom. The photo shows a front spring. More info in my specific suspension thread under my signature.

I've actually read your euro suspension thread a while back and have used your info to gather part #'s for the euro springs..thanks. I read it again but nothing mentioned about how to identify the springs top or bottom when installing or does it even matter since both end are the same, except one end is stamped

I notice on the photo u posted opposite side from the paper tag that has the letter "AV"... you can clearly see the part # stamped and a small indent just like my springs..seems like not to many riders have the euro springs set up, everyone either have KW, vog, koni or h&r these are easy to identify because of the flattened top for the pads. Hopefully someone drop some knowledge tonight before I install the springs tomorrow

Got the Euro springs installed with #1 pads all corner. Also replaced fronts shocks with Bilstein #24-025997. I'm going to miss the vogtland stance but the road conditions here are really bad..I'm happy with it not too high and not to low.

Front springs part # 210 321 22 04
Rear springs part # 210 324 34 04
Pad #2103210184 / #1 5mm
Pad #2103250184 / #1 5mm

Don't know the exact size but the brand is Disc italia...I believe they were the same size as the OEM for the C43

Can you take a side picture? I'm contemplating Vogtland or Euro.

Also, since you've fitted both, what are the handling comparisons between the two?
