Puzzled!!!




CEL on. Car was running rough and severely hesitating as it was misfiring. I ran a diagnostic and cylinders 5,6 & 7 were misfiring. I swapped the plugs & wires with cylinders 1,2 & 3 to see if I could pinpoint the problem. I erased the codes and drove it for two days. Same problems with no change whatsoever. Usually the CEL will reappear as soon as I put the pedal to the floor and the hesitation/misfiring occurs. No CEL present and I cannot pinpoint the problem. I am guessing that it is the MAF but wanted to check if anyone has encountered a similar situation. I was under the impression that a bad MAF or TPS would show up on a diagnostic. I'm using a MaxiDiag Autel EU702 and has it been very accurate. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
