China now is a big leader for most of Many many big companies around the world,
see how many countries dealing with China as the main source of producing items,,
this is the reality FACT we dealing with it now...!!
ZAYED,,
Lemförder still does Germany which is good, like Debbie does Dallas
Lemförder also has manufactoring in Italy, my LCA were stamped made in Italy and they were not genuine Lemförder qualität, they rusted like poop even if i don't drive my car in winter.

I got very suspicious... After receiving my Lemforder E55k mounts I thought they felt only alittle harder than stock C43, So I decided to purchase Corteco E55k from pelican parts to compare... when they turned up the Corteco mounts had no parts numbers on them and the felt like 4 cylinder soft and mushy...also one had manufacturing defect location was mounted 180 degree out like shown in photo, they refunded me for one mount only DO NOT buy the Corteco mounts. So I decided to purchased MB E55k mounts so that I also get the silicon covers...now they have turned up I can confirm they are definitely harder than my Lemforder with same part number,
Good lesson, if you want proper engine mounts for your MB go genuine!!!
pagz, what's the year/week manufacture date on both your MB rubbers?
stamped dating is ontop the metal housing.
my rubbers differs 4 years of age between one and the other.
one mount MF date was 2010 the other was MF 2014
wonder why MB would keep these parts in stock for that many years?
Guys,
I made an error earlier, the C43 mounts I have now are same as genuine MB,but have the MB part number ground off.
MB mounts have "CFW" on the side? which company is this?.
Dennis, My mounts are both 13W14, so 2013 week 14?. seems odd yours have such large gap i guess its just how stock levels are kept.
i hope rubber mounts don't go bad if they stay on the shelf for long time at MB facility?
my rubber mounts were covered with a layer of protective coating, maybe it's to preserve the rubber?
when i rubbed my fingers on the rubber, coating peeled off a bit
For comparison I purchased both recently Lemforder and Corteco, both are genuine part with MB logo ground off the rubber, they look same and I could feel no difference in hardness, the corteco was made 2013 and Lemforder 2014.
I got the mount from autohausaz.com, only issue ive had with any parts from them was a bad batch of crank position sensors. At least two were physically defective.
I got a return and got one from the MB palm beach dealer (same price).
The mount seemed okay, I bought two, threw one on mom's 430, and one on the 500. Hers is still smooth, mine isnt. I ordered another lemforder mount.
