Sticky : W202 Wheels , Tires, and Suspension Thread
Can we start a thread just wheels, tires and suspension . I couldn't find one and I also don't
know how to make this a "sticky" but would be great,. I use these in my other forums for my cars
and they are of great help and go to section!! If there is already one available please excuse me for
being redundant - Just stick to the topic in this thread.
Car Pics :
Wheels - Brand, OEM or Rep, Diameter, Width(s) , Specify Front and Rear
Offset(s) - Specify the ET on Front and Rear
Tire Size(s) - Brands, Specify Front and Rear
Suspension - i.e. Brands, Model, Color, Springs, Shocks, Coil Overs etc
Extras - i.e. Pads, Pad Sizing, Specify Front, Rears , Camber Kits , Part #s
Fenders Rolled - Yes or No
Recommendations - Do You like Your Set Up or Wish You Did Other
Ready Set GOOOO =)

I have the whole catalog of all benz rims. I can probably get specs for any mercedes rims if needed
Wheels*- AMG monoblock II rims 18x8 and 18x9 staggered
Offset(s)*- ET31 front and ET35 rear
Tire Size(s)*- 225/40/18 pirelli pzero front and 265/35/18 continental rear.
Suspension*- H&R sport springs no pads front and smallest pads rear. Bilstein sport shocks
Fenders Rolled*- Yes(factory)
Extras*- no pads front and smallest pads rear(dont have part numbers)
Recommendations*- there is a bit of rub in the front but it varies depending in the tire brand. I always run 225/40/18 in front but some tires have narrower walls so they dont rub unless at full lock and have passanger. Rear doesnt rub at all.

Just got my staggered monos today !!!
18x8 ET 31
18x9 ET 35
They're currently chrome, I have a buddy
who refinishes wheels and hes going to
clean em up, spray em down and make em silver
tomorrow. Not sure if silver with an actual chrome lip
is going to look good or if I should have him spray the lips
with a "chrome effect" which looks like a high luster allow colored paint. (chime in)

Debating on 265 or 255 rears? I bumped my rear pad up to #4 (chime in)

I would have them powdercoated silver with matching lips.

Powde rcoat the entire rim all one silver color?
Is that what you have done? Iusually like contrast between
rim and lip, but interested to see a monoblock all one color?
Please show me an image!!
Good to know you dont rub on 265s i like fatty rear tires

Poor pic, but gives an idea of stance:
Wheels: Carlsson 1/6 evo diamond, 18x8f, 18x9r
Offset(s): 35f, 35r
Tire Size(s): 225/40/18f, 255/35/18r (when tires are new, front can rub slightly on the plastic shroud at front of wheel well)
Suspension: Vogtland springs, Koni externally adjustable
Extras: #1 pads all four corners, no camber kits
Fenders Rolled: Yup
Recommendations: The ride can be harsh and bay area roads are brutal on the wheels. They're frequently bent and the lips chipped from all the potholes. May just go "disposable" and replace a cheap set every couple years.

It's just a basic Yakima roof rack - the kind that clamps to the edge of your roof and ruins the rubber liner on the door where it meets For an added bonus you can watch the paint get ruined if it slides at all. The fit at the front isn't optimal, but it's all I could find.
I'll see about some more pics this week.
