Will a C36 and C43 Share the Exact Same Front Fenders?
I searched but I don't have access to part #s and want to know if
the passenger side front fender from a 96 C36 will fit a 99 C43.

also AMG add the rubber seal trim, to give little bit wide looking for fenders.
ZAYED,,

I've got a regular fender on the driver's side of both my C43's and it's identical to the fender I took off...
If you are going low, be ready to roll your fenders unless you find a w202 amg thats parting.
Its exactly what I need and happy to know it fits and its rolled =)
Woohoo

but what's the special thing with this smoothness..? , is there any difference with non-AMG's..??
*in EPC & MB/W202 factory data/file; they mention no any difference with W202 fenders, except the indicator hole & AMG seal..!!
ZAYED,,
Every w202 amg i looked at had rolled fenders. Yours were probably replaced at some point if they are not rolled.
I dont think you can buy them rolled new from mercedes

.
The pdf shows the fender specs when compared to stock
https://mbworld.org/forums/c36-amg-c...oll-specs.html

As i know; in 99 MB produced 464 C280 with C43 body kit & 313 C240 with C43 body kit,
but in 2000 they produced 384 C280 with C43 body kit & 198 C240 with C43 body kit & 128 C230K with C43 body kit,
*can we say AMG done that bend to the fender for lowering isn't..?,,
or it's some kind of info. to MB, to know if fender been replaced during warranty/service history to the AMG models...?!!?
ZAYED,,
But im also thinking that since these cars with euro suspension comes
a bit lower, they compensated for the difference and rolled the fenders.
My stock c43 was pretty damn high when i bought it. It was a 4x4

I didnt know they released c230s and c280s with c43 kits. Is this in europe only?

i had "2" C280's 5-6 years ago with originally/factory C43 kits,
as i remember; when i want to replace the right fender seal at the dealer, they gave me AMG seal directly without asking that is non-AMG...!!
ZAYED,,
You are right, amg did roll the fenders for the larger 17" wheels,as Zayed mentioned there is only one number so it looks like you purchase a stock W202 fender and then apply AMG spec"40.27", which will be be some sort of spec on how far to roll it I assume or same spec as mentioned in PJmak's post above(you would use aftermarket rolling tool
)Also, the rubber lips you see on euro and japan models I think was for salty roads to aid stone rust/stone damage wasn't it?

My 98 had some rust on that same fender so I replaced it with one I found from a black C230k on craigslist and it is also identical. I still have the stock one in the shed with the rust hole in it. I can use it for a definitive comparison so we can figure out this mystery, if I can ever get home before dark!

That means its a lot easier to get the amg body kit in europe. Lucky
