nurburgring 2015 trip car preparation
but just keep in mind that usually its the pad temps that get overheated at the track, not sure if pushing air to the bottom of the disks will do much for the pad temps. most high performance street pads top out at 800* or maybe 900*F then start to fade or cant properly expel the dust. i had to go to a race pad that can still operate around 1100-1200*
*edit... just read your sig... you have the pagid race pads and they still were givng you those issues?!? that seems strange to me.

Hi ive not used the pagid pads yet Monday will be the first time ill use race pads on track. I over heated the factory pads at the ring.
What the best way to bed in the pagid pads?

sorry for not replying sooner.
i was really worried about trying to bed pads at 100+ mph as the websites often suggest for race pads, obviously trying to do this on the street is really stupid and unsafe.
I called the manufacturer of my pads, Porterfield, and talked to them about this and they told me that the key was just to get the pads to temp gradually. so they told me to do stops from 60mph; 2 stops with easy braking, then 2 more with medium braking, then 2 with hard braking.
that worked for me just fine, the pads are great. BUT that was that particular manufacturer, i would call and talk to someone at pagid to make sure that would work for your pads as well. race pads are not cheap so you dont want to waste a set or have them not work properly!
