My C43 is done
Unfortunately it has been taken away by the insurance company and never to return.
I was able to rip my stereo out and the entire supercharger setup out. They have the 2-tone interior and C55 staggered wheel setup.
Not sure yet what I'm going to be in the market for next.
Figured some of you would want to know, I haven't posted much in years. Just been enjoying my car etc..
Anyone want an HPS GEN 1 supercharger setup that actually works? I am 90% that I'm going to sell. Somewhat tempted to buy a minty ml430 and install.

Yes, fire. I'm sure they will auction it. Do you know where/when/how to figure that out? Would be a decent starting point for something wild. Probably not worth it for me vs. the market value of a nice CLK55 or similar though, but tempting. I hate that they are getting my wheels.

Car was idling in driveway and caught fire. Back passenger side of motor. I suspect a mouse made a nest or something. Really shouldn't have happened. I was able to put it out but lost enough.
If I do buy a CLK I'll be looking for the same wheels. Maybe I should try to go to the auction. No longer own a car trailer though.

Yes, Insurance Auto Auctions (IAAI).

It is not scheduled yet, but that auction location is also public, so anyone can bid, not only dealers. Someone local can be very lucky. That car being a 99 model in that condition, i don't think will go too high, $1000 -ish maybe.
I got my last c43 with some front suspension problem for $900.
