12' W204 C63 AMG coupe "T-Rex", 12' W451 Smart Fortwo Pulse (99' W202 C43 AMG sold)
Those are good numbers and they seem consistent with what others have reported (in the UK for ex.). An extra 80-100hp is nice to have under your foot in a 43

what company tricked out your ECU?
how much did you have to pay for this tune?
did you remove the ecu from your car and took it to tuning shop for re-flash to 55 software?
how much is correct factory torque on 5.4L engine?
is it 510 or 530NM?

i hoped to gain more .. but then again where u want to be a pioneer u need to pay.
this also happened when making a true dual exhaust. i brought the car back within a week because my head exploded while driving.
i have no trouble paying this.. i knew behore hand dyno was €125.- , paying for knowledge and software was €450.- this with 21% tax and a small part (for another car) gives the €721.-
what counts is that im happy
i can say i got a W202 with "400" HP
next thing is finding a way to widen my rear rims or find RH rims which are 9Jx17.. i would like to mount 255/40R17 tires.. traction is a b.tch since swapping the 5.5. besides that it looks great with a deep dish.

im afraid thats not gonna happen.
people who buy a C43 these days are low on cash..
and then there are not many people who have bought one really want to invest in making more power or expensive mods like a quaife.
this forum here ( the Us one) is one of the biggest with lots of C43 owners but not a lot of them do the swap or do brake mods, install chargers, change exhausts etc etc.
its a pitty but so true.
but then again not that they need to .. each to their own.
one should enjoy his car as how he feels he should treat or own it.
some do only exterior options and some do their best to get the most out of it.
i really reallyl love my car.. i would never consider going for an E with "K" or clk/slk with "k"
to be honest..only car which get me warmed up is a CLK 63.. ( and then not the BS version because its out of range )

yes, I'm also low on cash which is why my C43's don't have any mods or real work done yet. But they were the perfect car for my situation anyway. I always wanted one. I got them when they are old and cheap but still super fun and reliable.
But the fun part is that I can rely on them for years until I don't have to spend so much money on preschool for the kids. Then I can get 55 engines and chargers... For now, they just need to keep working.

correct!
the C43 is a briljant car how it came.
its absolutely not neccesairy at all to change all that. if u can its great if not.. the C43 stays perfect.
if i didnt had the change last year to buy a complete E55 for super duper low money i would still have gotten my car as it was.
but now i have the 55 engine i must admit its really a blast.
if u get the change to do this yes i would absolutly recommend it.
brakes are allready perfect.. only for looks i would install 6 or 8 piston calipers.
as for the exhaust.. oh well.. i like to listen to this V8 rumbling, especially in parking/garages.. i Always need to find me the furthest spot
i find the C43 an absolutely superb car.
i would buy one extra if i came across one for a good price.

see the very first line in this thread:
"removed secondairy cat's, no midpipe, ebay shorty headers, BMC airfilers, tweaked ECU"
and a non MB radio..
other then that my car is bone stock, maintenance is done with only oem mb parts.

Ok, I read that but NEEDED to double check as I'm running a very similar setup with high low secondaries.
Also Im running SL wheels to go a little wider (but they are heavier than I would like).
Thanks

off course i need to add.
i run a dual set up exhaust system.
the 2 pipes which come from the engine run all the way behind the differential where they are welded into the stock end muffler.
