What lug bolts to use with my Monoblock 18s? And where to buy Hub Rings?
C280 guy here, but no one is responding to my thread on that side of the site. I'd imagine you guys would have more experience with Monoblocks.
I get vibration from my Monoblocks when on my 1999 C280 but don't have hub rings in them. I have the stock 15s on right now though, and I have NO issues with the vibration I get.
I am assuming it's no hub rings. Where do I get them to fix my issues and what Lug Screws work best for my application? I am using the stock lugs...but don't think they are ideal.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you
Trust me. I searched for longer wheel bolts when I got my spacers.
Chances are your tires are not balanced or the wheels are bent. Stock bolts should be fine.
Appreciate the input!
Edit: Forgot to add in, I had the wheels professionally straightened and refinished. They were balanced and everything prior to putting on the car.
Since they are the staggered versions, these came off the E55's I believe. Can anyone confirm? Sooo hard to find information.
Not all shops have the equipment for this but they do. Its $49 to do it but it will tell you wether your wheels are bent, balanced right or if the tires are worn off weird

I am using my stock 12M lugs...and at first I thought I needed M14, but now that I looked into it and see that these wheels came off a E55, those used M12s too!
So maybe I don't need new lugs?? I just worry about hte hub ring since the lugs itself are the ones that are holding the wheel on and the Hub isn't helping at all.
Maybe that's the vibration?

Just call them, they were cheap and fast.
And it did fix my imbalance issue on my Benz.
If you do have a Les Schwab, you are in luck. They are the best tire store hands down. Stunning service.

Thanks!! I will call them to see if they can help me out.
The guy measured it for me and said the inside of it is 70.2 I think he said? So that means there's about 5mm difference from 66.5.
Does that sound right?? Maybe these didn't come off a 00 or 01 E55....
Thoughts?
