Clicking coming from rear end/new wheels on!

So I just installed my 18'' c63 wheels on my 43.Front are 18x8 et 35 rear are 18x9 et 35.They fit perfect. The rears I pushed out slightly with a 5mm hubcentric aluminum wheel spacer from the wheel dealer I purchased the rims from. They sell tons of Benz wheels and parts so they know there stuff.I NOW HAVE A CLICKING SOUND FROM THE REAR.I tourqued the wheels properly and flipped the ring several times still the clicking is present.Nothing is rubbing was under the car checked wheel clearence, tire clearance, caliper clearance etc.Could it be the flex disc or anything else? Im baffled. Not sure if sound wasn't present before the wheel change as my car sits for long periods of time in the garage.Last time I had driven it was two months ago in winter with all windows rolled up,so if it wasn't present I probably couldn't hear it.

beautiful set of rims!!
but why u didnt u go for 255/35 R18?
looks even more "bad-***" from the back.

about the clicking noise... could it be possible that the bolts which are used now touch the e-brake stuff behind the disk? i think i see u used the oem ones which are quite long.

anyway love the look!!!

yes normally yes..
but i dont know how thick the "meat" is on these rims..
just a couple of mm's can make a click/tick sound.
but again this is me thinking out-loud.
normally changing rims doest make a different is all is free and there is no rubbing anywhere.

You mean the hub face on the rear...it is very thin..that could be the issue. What is the size of our lugs? I read somewhere that a minimum 6 1/2 turns to tighten lugs is sufficient..Im almost sure I was way beyond that....sooo..

Ok measured hub face thickness on stock monos,,and yes the new wheels are much thinner..stuck lug thru mono and new wheel for comparison and the lugs sit longer on the new wheel so that's probably it.The fronts are a non issue noise wise.Where can I get shorter lugs,or can I use wheel lug washers to shorten up?

Also important notice;-

Can't use stock (M12) bolts with these nice C63 Rims, cause the bolt hole is bigger, and the bolt head should be (R14)..!

if you keep your stock (M12), it will damage the base of the bolt hole, have to go with (M12) with (R14) bolt head..!!

ZAYED,,

Car looks great brother
If you need R14 your fronts would need changing too. But you're not getting any odd behavior from them? You probably already checked, but also look at the lugs for ball head vs. cone to make sure they match.

Thanks buddy!...cone is what these wheels are machined for, checked them well.Running the stock ones for now until I find the black lugs I want. The 12's seat well into the wheels.Took her up to 130 and tracks straight as stock.

same thing happened to me when i bought my Brabus rims
i had to shorten my bolts a lill bit as they were touching my hand/foot brake pads giving a click sound.
if you drive your car you will ruin your hand/foot brake pads.
fix your problem b4 you drive your car

You might wanna check if you ruined your parking brake.

Check if there is heat or smell coming from the rear wheels after even short periods of driving.
