So, after sooo many years of wanting one, I finally scored a c43. I remember seeing these cars in the showroom with my dad, who twice opted for the Eclass with sport package in 1999 and in 2002. The one I picked up was from a relative who did not treasure it as much, always let his nephews joyride it and it now needs some love. Actually it needs some body work and a set of bumpers. It has a unpainted set of duraflex kit bumpers which I refuse to use. I know an original set will be hard to come by, is there a better than duraflex alternative? Please lead the way...
You could still purchase the bumpers from the dealer but it will cost you. They are expensive. The center garnish on the front bumper is expensive as well. You might as well replace the brackets since you are replacing the bumpers already. The brackets are not bad in terms of pricing.
When I wrecked mine and got it rebuilt in 2014, the dealer had to call all over the country to find one at other dealers/distributors. They said I got the last one in the US (and probably North America).
Even if your local dealer gives you a price and says it can order it, it will likely cancel the order when word comes back saying it's out of stock.
I have a complete C36 kit in black that I would sell for a very reasonable price complete. I am located not too far away in CT. Kit is not perfect so not asking huge money.

That last offer didn't pan out, seller no longer wants to part out. Does anyone have a set or either bumper for sale? Maybe you swapped them out for a body kit? Or have some damaged ones that can be worked on? Or you can point me the right direction! Any help is appreciated!
good luck. there was only 1 C43 bumper skin left in the states back when I totaled my C43, but I went with an ebay Duraflex copy on ebay to save money which was a TERRIBLE idea, that bumper skin was awful and not worth the $350 I paid for it.
I ended up having to buy on here from Abu Dhabi from fellow member cm60k. It was in rough shape but it's better than nothing. I'll spend whatever I must to keep it in good shape, C43 bumpers are damn near impossible to find. They only made 3400 cars world wide, why would they stockpile a bunch of spare bumpers 20 years later?

I was able to buy last year from the dealership but it was ordered from Germany. I had to wait a week for it to arrive.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. The car has a unpainted body kit which I might be forced to work with. I MUCH rather have a factory kit though, even if they were from a c36..

this bumper has the eüropean parktronic sensor holes which you can sand down and fill with bondo then repaint.
if you shoot seller a message he will ship to your destination as described in the auction.

OK here is the front bumper, I am going to look for pictures of my old back bumper because it is in storage now. dont want to pull it out. Anyway the front bumper is in pretty good condition aside from two parking lot dings, one is a small crack on driver's side and the other is a scratch on passenger side. the underside of the bumper is intact, no cracks. in the middle of the bumper on the top is a bit wavy but i think that might be age or fitment, can probably be sorted.

Turns out I only have one picture of the rear bumper without pulling it out. the rear is in decent condition absent the crack and peeling paint. im guessing it can be sorted out. i did notice that there is a bit of scratches on the underside of the bumper but it cannot be seen unless you are under the car, guessing it is road debris kicking up.
i apologize for taking so long with the pictures, was my birthday last week and ive been pretty busy this week.
let me know if you are still interested and i still have to source a new front bumper for myself (make sure they are available and get it ordered)

i havent priced mine yet. only emailed my bodyshop guy today to make sure he can get me a replacement since there is conflicting information on the board as to whether there are any new front bumpers left in existence
