Hey guys, need to replace front and rear shocks, and I feel my front springs are sagging a little so I was looking for a total replacement.
Anyone heard of or use Gecko?

looks like a coilover made in taiwan. they are selling on ebay for around $1000. i have been cruising ebay for coilovers lately. heres a site that basically has them all listed for our cars. LINK

if you are looking to save some dollars then order the joms. they are like $400 or $300 if you could buy them from ebay.uk. they've got a 2 year warranty so thats not bad.

the kw's are a bit more, you can probably expect to pay just under $2k maybe $1700 if you really shop around, but they do have a limited lifetime warranty.

ive always liked the yellow speed club racing setup LINK but i dont think anyone no the forum has ever tried them out. there might be some reviews out there somewhere though. and these only have a 2 year warranty so theres that to consider.

if you are just looking for stance, i'd say go with the joms or some other low price alternative. though i'd bet any coilover package offered if set up correctly would probably offer better handling than oem (not necessarily ride)

check out Bilstein, CARID has them always on sale. You can pick up their top shelf model for just north of $1K. I love mine.

Hi Peeps,

Just a reminder that our W202 do NOT use coilovers. The spring is a separate unit to the shock.

Coilovers are springs with the shock inside the spring...

Yes, you are right of course, I should have clarified that I'm looking for 'cheap' coilover 'conversion' kits.
http://www.dryfitshirtstore.com/dry-...&round_up.html
Which of these are true conversion kits, and which are just mislabeled/incorrectly pictured?
Thanks!

i dont think there is a conversion kit to true coilovers. i think to have true coilovers, you'd have to do some fabricating which involves more than a kit. if it can even be done.

Just installed Gecko coilover on my SL500, still will be making height adjustments once it settles in and will make damper a little harder. Paid $900, but have since found local guy that has for $800, selling old struts to Arnott for $800.

completely , i installed gecko coilovers on my 2012 civic and i lost ride quality , handling and i was going to have an accident , i also discovered that i had a faulty spring rear and wheel mount from day one which they refused to change , not mentioning the clunking and noisy sounds ... i just threw them away and saved my soul
