C36 and C43 AMG shift knobs
Hi, and sorry looking to confirm which shift knobs were the original/OEM C36 and C43 AMG shift knobs for W202 models.
I'm thinking they were as attached and the same for all years of the W202 series, but wanted to confirm the AMG models please.

You're correct. Just a tidbit of info for the 43 ones: the center leather portion color varied depending on interior color option (black/silver has silver insert).

With respect to AMGs, I saw some knobs with sports too, and read that it had to do with trim lines. Thus, is it true that the c36 and c43 AMGs came in specific trim lines (sport, elegance, etc) as well? Thus there would be a c36 amg (sport/luxury/etc)? I would think the trim lines (i.e sport) would only be applicable to non AMGs.

I have the one on the right in my 43. Don't think they made anything special for that version.
The one on the left could be the real thing as the 36 was one of the earlier AMG's

The shifter at the left is definetly the oem 94-96 model for the C36, the 97 was slightly different ( I think).

You can get them with a V8 logo. I believe those come from the ML versions

I have the Sport version like most on here.A V8 would be nice to have. Let me check if they are available and how much
