ECC and kickdown??

how das the ecc work on our cars?
if you have the ecc engaged then doing kickdown, das ecc disengage for maximum HP and TQ?

or das ecc stay ON all the time even when doing kickdown?

ECC stands for elektronik climate control for all rookies who doesn't know what the ECC is?

my Q was if I have the ECC engaged in pozitione ON and do the kickdown will ECC shut off during kickdown to gain all HP and TQ while speeding?

when ECC is power ON it will rob a lot of HP and TQ from the engine making car slower.

I don't think so and I doubt it. The difference with it on or off is minimal apart from fuel consumption which may see a small increase or decrease.

I wudd have thought the AC system had an auto power ON/OFF switch at warp speed on kickdown during full throttle to gain all the ponies?
when you go back to normal speed AC goes back to pozitione ON.

that would have been a cool feature but i dont think they were that serious about the c43 in production. i mean, even the engine was only 4.3 with a bit of dressing.

have an idea.... why dont you use your finger and push the "ec" button before slamming the pedal down?

maybe your finger is busy somewhere else?

do you say I have a Booger on my finger?

it's not safe fiddling with switches while you're speeding like a carthief on the hiway.
an auto cut off design for the AC system while nailing the axxelerator wudd have been a great construction if we don't have it?
