When i start my car from a cold start the rpms usually goto 1200 - 1500 and hold it there.
From a warm start it rises up to the 1200 -1500 rpm mark and drops down right after.
But every now and then when the engine is warm ill go to start the car and it snaps on and the rpms go up to 2000 and it slowly goes back down again. I love that and it sounds freaking amazing, is there anyway i could get my car to start like that more often?

 

I know what you men. Sometimes when the car is warm the startup almost seems hesitant when compared to how it just snaps when cold.

I want to know the same thing.

 

but the thing is, im in love with how the car sounds when it goes up to 2k rpm but i have no idea what causes it and it doesnt happen very often either and i want to change that

 

Not normal behaviour Something's wrong somewhere...

 

probably electronic, some sensor somewhere for whatever reason, wrong or right, is telling the car to rev higher. would probably require some kind of computer reprogram to get it to do it every time.

just a logical guess.

 

Adjusting the throttle cable under the hood will effect this as well but you gotta know what you are doing when it comes to that cable

 

Don't mess with that cable...

 

This "problem" is very very rare. It's happened maybe 4 times in the 6 months I've been daily driving my car. I did tighten up the throttle cable just a little bit and it makes my car much more responsive than a stock C43
