Top speed C43 AMG

Wow that was cool
How fast are US C43's?

Of course, this thing has been massaged a bit by the good folks at AMG. The car was quite stable and needed minor corrections. Because the speedo goes only to 160, the tach and a bit of calculation made 181.02MPH not taking in consideration the tire deformation. The tires were inflated at 36PSI FR/RR for this.
I would not do it too often on an open road (or on track for that matters), but it was fun that one time and you only live once anyway.
I actually have done it on a deserted stretch of freeway at 2AM, returning from Willow Springs. The governor is not governing anymore...

Nice toy anyway and it already resumed its functions, pacing the 50 year anniversay celebration at Willow Springs last month:
Can't miss it in a parking lot for sure... :p
Yes. The man is my friend. It's got 700 miles on it... the thing is a freaky rocket.
I also have a C36 but it's a slug compared to this. I just drove a new C32 and it's not even close.
I'm thinking of buying the evo underdrive pullies for my C43 (about $550) before or instead of going for a supercharger. How many hours did your mechanic charge you to install these? Which chip do you currently use or who did you get to remap your ecu?
Did you dyno your car after the UD re-map? what were your gains?
I got about 20 hp from my race catalytic converters and custom exhaust.
Thanks
