Vogtland Sport Suspension Kit

Hi all,
I was hoping to get some help regarding upgrading my suspension on my C43.
After 18 years I feel as though it is time she gets some new shocks, springs, and all the rubber parts needed for her suspension.
While looking at Vogtland springs, I found that they make a full sport suspension kit with a shock and spring.
Does anyone have any idea if they are any good, and will they actually fit and work well on the C43.
Certain website list it as an upgrading for the C280 while others mention that it is suitable for the C43.
Any help will be appreciated.

Here's a link to the kit:

Thank you

Yes, my initial choice was koni yellow, but the price of the Vogtland kit is enticing.

I just installed the same Vogtland kit this past summer on my wife’s 335I. The kit has a very nice ride feel. It’s firm but absorbs the bumps very well. Compared to my Vogtland/Koni yellows setup on my C43, I’d definitely choose my current C43 setup. The main reason is that the Vogtland sport kit has a vastly reduced spring rate as they are half coils. This creates a firmer all around ride when compared to full size coils. With the Vogtland/Koni yellows, you can achieve the same ride but the option to change to approx. twelve different settings. The kit uses Koni dampers as they make them for the Vogtland Sport kits. Unfortunately, the kit for the 335I is non adjustable. The ability to adjust the ride is unparalleled in my honest opinion. I plan on running the same Vogtland/Koni yellow setup on my sons C36. Hope this info. helps with your decision.

I would recommend the KW Variant 2 set-up. Perfect in my opinion and is fully adjustable in height and shock movement. Not cheap but worth every cent, if you can stretch your budget.

I have the vogtland springs with bilstein sports and love it. The ride is firm but the handling is VASTLY improved. If you are looking for comfort you may want to go with a different setup

I have Koni adjustable shocks and Vogtland #952079 springs.
I love this combo, it's sporty but firm!
As I'm eüropean I love sporty combos, maybe americanos loves softer combo then my kit wouldn't suit the purpose of comfortable couch driving.

The C43 is a flashy gentleman's cuze cruiser, more of a GT car for long runs, car has power but is comfortable to drive.
Not many BMW hardcore enthusiasts would like the C43 being too soft!

I definately recommend the Koni shock and Vogtland combo.
I don't anything know about ready made Vogtland kit.

Good luck buying the right setup

Wow, thanks for all the replies guys!!
my original plan was to go with the koni yellow/Vogtland set up like many of you have done, but a pick up truck backing into my car and fleeing the scene made my wallet a little lighter. Hearing that the shocks are non-adjustable does make me a little less confident about the kit. I do a lot of highway miles on less than stellar southern California miles, with occasional spirited drives around the mountains, so I would have liked to be able to find a nice balance between ride comfort and handling.
As I am still young my back can still tolerate a former ride, but I wouldn't want to lose the essence of a true Mercedes by having a tuner car like ride.
I am definitely not opposed to being the guinea pig for this kit, as the price isn't too steep, and obviously once the budget permits I can always step up to the koni yellows, or KWs or whatever else might be an upgrade.
