Straightening wheels
so my question is about straightening the rims. i feel like my rims may not be "true" anymore and have thought about having them straightened. my reasons behind this are that 1. my rims require a lot of weights to balance and 2. i had really bad tire wear on one of my tires. granted it could have been the ball joint i replaced but for some reason i feel like the rim might have something to do with it.
can or should we have these rims straightened? is it worth it or better to just move on?
my options are to buy a used set of MB rims or maybe just go with a cheap aftermarket set. my thoughts are that if i do buy used used MB, i might shy from the 17 monos and go with those turbine style ive always liked.

LesSchwab told me my front wheel was bent. Another shop told me its not.
Try a high end shop for tire balancing but for that money you can probably have your wheel straightened. I called once locally and it was $70 per wheel to straighten.

Thanks buddy, I will go with AWRS on this one as they are close to me. hopefully they will just straighten, not really looking to refinish these at the moment.
18 mono dreams is the title of another thread i started way back when, but right now im just dealing with winter rims so the 17s are fine. i'll have a set of those 18s one day though. i see them online right now for around 1300 completely refinished
