0-60mph runs and air intake tubes
Interesting video which clears up a lot of questions regarding the intake, the air-box and their relationship to 0-60 mph runs

I should put my e55 Airbox into my c43 and see if it changes things. It should fit.
but I cant test anything until I rebuild my entire suspension and replace my starter.

That's why mostly recommended to go with "M113K" air boxes,
they're against the sides of the manifold which would appear to be more effective that will feeding cooler air,
there's also more affect reason, that C43 MAF/airbox comes with meshes, that really blocks a bunch of air goes into the intake..!!,,
prefer to remove those meshes, difference will obviously appeared..

Of course NOT that big difference Jason, just a little bit in response,,
i removed those meshes with many "C43/Clk55/E55", without any issues,,
also, if you notice, there's no mesh in all AMG "N/A" or "K" air boxes after 2003..

Thanks for that Zayed!
On the air boxes I ship now I do not remove the mesh anymore (unless customer wants me to)..
Its a pain to remove and makes no difference to ME in performance or air flow..
The screen in the mass air flow housing is another story. Removing that silver screen does give better throttle response.

I've removed both screens.
The airbox needs to be on the throttle body all the time after, making sure no foreign object gets by and sucked into the engine
