C43 Differential Cover

Hello Guys...
I have a 98 C43 AMG and fell in love with the car the day I got her. I was hesitant to buy a mercedes but am glad I did. This car is amazing and so much fun to drive. I dont regret the purchase at all. That being said. It's not easy finding parts for her. I am currently in search of a differential cover. These cover have the two mounting bolts that go to the subframe. Is it possible to just get the cover? Or do I need to buy a whole new differential?
To make a long story short... I was at a stoplight one day and when it turned green I let off the brake and as soon as I touched the gas pedal all I heard was metal shredding. The car maybe moved a total of two inches. I was unaware of this but apparently the bolts holding the axle onto the diff had over time came out. It must have been serviced and someone forgot that threadlock was a thing. There was supposed to be six bolts to start. I found two. One broke and one stayed in .When the diff put the pressure on the axle... a bolt gave way leaving one attached. And the diff basically was a sling shot and threw the axle around the wheel well. When it made a whole rotation anf came back around... The axle got jammed in there from being misalligned. It kept turning and basically ripped the diff right off of the driver side mount .Leaving a giant hole where the mount bolt was.
These mount bolts are on the end cover of the diff. So i thought if i found the cover.. The rest of the pumpkin is solid. Which brought me here.
Im new to the forums at MB. But hoping you guys can give me some advice. .. Do i have to purchase an entire differential?

Wow, that's something serious and reading your post I had the impression that the diff exploded, which doesn't seem to be the case. If you say that only the cover needs to be sourced and changed, I imagine that the part can be found with no major problem. I'm not a specialist but as far as I know the diff is NOT a specific AMG item, so you you should find something in the MB parts bin.

Let me check the EPC and I'll be back in a mo....

Here goes with some .pdf files:
- Rear diff parts list
- Rear diff diagram
- Rear diff usage in other MB vehicles

Thank you for the help... I thought it was good anf a winner... But I dont believe that is the one. The mounting bolts on that cover stick out a little further than the rest of the bolts for the diff cover. In my picture... The mounting bolts line up with the cover bolts. Am i seeing it wrong. Or...

Don't have to stick with C43 cover, the cover comes with (10) bolts,

many models sharing the same cover,

you can find the cover with these following models:-

"W202 C220 CDI/C280/C36" or "W208 Clk320/Clk430" or "W210 E200K/E220 CDI/E280/E320",,

P/N of the cover : "210 350 03 36" or "220 350 01 36"..

This part number (220 350 01 36) is the link above. If Zayed says it's legit you can take it to the bank
