So Im selling my 5.4 c43 for a new project
Just sold my 2000 c280 and next is my 98 c43 with a 5.4 swap thats salvage title and has a lot of miles. The 280 I had was in poor shape and black and not worth investing into.
A big reason for this is a nice w203 c55 I also own but I want to remain in the w202 world.
I specifically want a 98-2000 c280 sport(with color matched trim).
Currently only looking for three colors. They are listed below in order of preference. All three hard to find.
Red
Ruby Red
Light green
The long term goal is to swap a 3.7l M112 and do some minor mods to gain some extra power.
Also want it lowered with w203 brakes, and c36 muffler.
I looked at a red c280 sport few days ago, drove an hour to see it but it was in pretty bad shape so I passed.
I am really excited about this project and cant wait to get started.
C43 will be up for sale soon and if you see a c280 sport(sport only) in any of the three listed colors. Please let m eknow.
Also any details about that swap please feel free to post here. Already talked to cm60k and the tech who did my 5.4 swap on the 43 and it sounds like the same type of swap.
Anyway Im excited and the goal is to get the c280 as close to the 300hp mark as possible. Paired with a lsd and maybe some weight reduction, the car should be just right and fun to drive.

The car hasnt been listed for sale. Needs a few things done to it.
the 3.7 swapped c280 isnt about power. I want a clean rare swap thats reliable and looks good. I have a w203 c55 which is the same kinda car as a c43 swapped
