How did this crash happen?
Did you lose traction and hit the curb?
Wifey borrowed the car...in her defense, it was not her fault. An older, less alert driver darted in front of her and no way to avoid an impact.
These C43's are my absolute favorite cars, I believe I've had about 16 of them...they just feel so correct and balanced, even being 20 years old.
I have many cars, GLA45, E63, S63, SLK55 P30, S3, Macan S, new M3 sedan, GTI, etc (own a small dealer as a hobby) and I still look forward to time behind the wheel of my C43's...so, if anyone out there is looking to part with theirs...I am a buyer for the right car/cars.

Black Opal is an AMAZING color...sometimes more green than black/blue depending on lighting.

But my all-time favorite color for the C43 will always be good 'ole basic Black 040...
By the way, a very good, humble and low-key friend of mine, and an active member on this very forum, has a couple of my C43's. And an amazing collection of V8 C-Class cars in general.
Its very possible he may like C43's as much as I do. Unicorns...2000 C43 / 2005 CLK55 Coupe

Sorry to read about the accident.
Elderly people shouldn't drive cars if they are not fully wake during driving so goes for Drunks Under Influence and Drugs Under Influence.
These are dangerous drivers.
How many C43's do you own now?
The BBS R129 AMG rims are really nice you had on the black car.
Here’s mine from yesterday, was mid-detail when I stopped by the garage. Black opal as well. She’s heading into storage for winter now tho, can’t risk the Midwest salt rusting her out at this point. 122k mi.
