Detailing a track car

Hi all hope you are well

Christmas around the corner where did the last one go quick that’s where

Any way I’ve decided to go into the world of ceramic coatings as the wax I’ve been using just don’t last and I’m fed up with it.
Ive gone with Gtechniq CSL and ExoV4 to coat the car but before that I’m deep cleaning the car taking off bumpers doors wheel arch liners door glass ( or in my case poly windows) seals these are particularly dirty. The car is now ready for machine polishing after the decontamination stage.

Heres some pictures

Coated the front bumper in my front room can’t apply out side will do the rest at friends garage

Love it, keep the pictures coming.

I ceramic coated my black car. It has held up really well.

Have you done it before??

I made a few mistakes that ill share.

Make sure you are working in the dust free environment. Id detail my car and come back to it tomorrow just to find a layer of dust. Id end up having to wipe it which would usually leave tiny swirls.

Make sure you wipe the compound off entirely and dont miss spots. It might be hard to see and youll seal over it and wont be able to get it off later.

I sealed over a spot of compound in one area lol and now cant wipe it off but its in a spot where its not obvious.

Looking fantastic.
You must have frozen your bollocks detailing outside?

Your car does it sit outside entire winter?
