Talking

FrankW

A quick update...

I got rid of the MB license plate frame on the rear, went 50% tint all the way around so shes looking better than the current pictures indicate.

I also found a little 'air blocker' panel in the front grill (right side) which I took off and will probably look into a making up a ram air set up. With the factory air block removed I can feel a slight throttle improvement.

Next will be pullies and maybe a chip but not sure who to go to for a chip. I;d like to remove the rev limiter and the top speed limiter...even if I get no HP/TQ increases it would be worth it.

As for wheels I'm shopping for a used set of E55 wheels with some sticky Sumitomos.

Thanks for the kind words..

Brookln,

I'm more focused on go fast improvements at this stage. This car is a blast, I get more people wanting to race me then when I'm driving my M3.

The best thing is shocking the crap out of people when they think they have a good chance of pulling me off a stop light.... :v Dont get me wrong its not M3 fast but the car is so unassuming that it throws down a pretty impressive beating on those little rice rockets...

You'll actually waste your time, waste gas, risk an accident, and risk a ticket to race a ricer? That ricer knows you will spank him, he just wants to see by how much so he can go praise about how he was only 2 cars (or what ever) lengths behind an AMG.

99slvr....thats two different posts where you have set me straight. thanks for watching over me and making me feel welcome. Such helpful words of wisdom about fuel economy as well. BTW any race is a risk no matter if its a ricer or anyone else... also if I gave a crap about my gas consumption I would have bought a pirus/prius or whatever they are.

So far your not really making my forum experience very much fun.

anywayz, post some new pictures of the ride You need some AMG license frames and get the Avantgarde grille, that will improve the look up front by a lot.

Pretty damn funny reading the last two posts... I ordered from Bekkers clear corners and yes an avantegarde grill... Should have them by friday or monday. Either way I'll snap some pics once thats all done... The car should look pretty different with the new additions and the 50% tint I had done last week.
Next stop is the resonator removal.....
