1999 C43 AMG, 2005 E55 Wagon
I recently sold my 55-swapped C43 to a friend because I was moving into a place where I had less room to store extra cars. But I missed it a lot, and they're trying to build a 2 miles professional road course 3 miles from my home, so i bought it back. It's a very high miles car in rough shape but with no rust.
So I think I may be watching your videos a lot over the next couple years. I'd like to use the C43/55 as a track day car.

But good tools can still be gotten pretty easily, they just cost much more.
Good cheap ones are around too. I use Kobalt for that reason: cheap but good.

Think you may have mounted the pedal mount plate on the wrong side of the vehicle. You probably want that over on the driver's side. Just wanted to make sure that you didn't miss that...

Just as a data point, I went through this process on a different car that I was building for endurance racing. I was more interested in simplifying the electrical system to make it easier to diagnose and fix during a race. I ended up with two large rubber-made bins full of wiring and it was ~5 pounds in total if I remember correctly. Again, different car, so maybe not exactly the same, but it wasn't that much in terms of weight. If you can remove various control modules that aren't being used anymore, that could be more meaningful.
