So was helping my brother look for a car on facebook market and I totaly accidentaly found this while searching for an e55 amg.
99 e320 with 280k miles and rare two piece wheels just reduced to $1800 from $2500. Imediately got on it and that same day went to look at it. Didnt care about the car just wanted the wheels and was ready to pay 1800 regardless of the condition.
Well got there and got the car for $1600. Runs and drives but has a good coolant leak and is pretty rough shape. Made it home and imediately started figuring out a plan to get rid of the car. Never put it in my name.
Also I needed some wheels to put on it obviously so I went to a local junk yard and got three spares $16 each plus the car already had one. About a week later found a buyer and the car is gone on spares for $500 minus roughly 50 for the spares. Bought the car Christmass eve.
That means im left with a full genuine set of bbs two piece wheels for $1150. No cracks or bends or corrosion but they need refinishing. I think they were never disasambled since brand new. Gonna refinish them and probably save them if I ever get a red c36 to go with my red c43.
