I cant beileve people are giving them away for 13k.
I have 155k on mine and wouldn’t even sell for 30k.
They will never make anything like that again.
Once you sell, you can’t get one.
Just like sealed NES Nintendo games .

I think the $12k you got was fair and on point given the market has trended upward since, IMO, the sale of my car set a value for cars with mileage. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...nz-c43-amg-19/
Previous BaT sales for cars over 100k miles sold for around $7-8k.
Forgive me if I'm a little sour. I bemoan thoughts that these cars are going to be worth so much, particularly high mileage cars, given my experience with tire kickers low balling me, even after looking at 160+ photos, incredibly detailed service records and receipts, and a car that looked like it had 40k, not 140k miles. I certainly did not get the $12k my buyer got on BaT for all my effort maintaining the car. Yes, I like them, but they're getting old and when parts are truly no longer available, it will be tough to maintain even the lowest mileage ones. They're just having their moment, like most Mercedes youngtimers. Look at the guy who has a white one with 26,000 miles on mercedesheritage.com who won't lower his $35k price when lower mileage cars are going in the mid-20's on BaT (example). It's been for sale for like 5 years.
Anyway, my two cents.

The harder the parts are to find the more expensive these will get. Look at 500Es and any other older benz increasing in value.
The fact that cheap ones sell in days tells you something.

Well there is definitely a big difference between re-dying the leather that is already there versus rewrapping with new leather, both in terms of materials and labor.
