I scored a complete set of two tone seats at a pick n pull a few months back for super cheap. They are mostly good except the driver side bottom.

I know the passenger side will fit too so if anyone has an extra one or knows anyone who is parting a c43, please let me know.

Its two tone black and champagne.

Hello PJ, have you had an upholstery shop evaluate the leather? A good local shop should be able to match the color and restore new leather for you. It shouldn't be that complicated of a project since there are no weaves.

I purchased the last two sets of the two-tone seat bottoms from the dealer ~5 years ago. They let them go for a steep discount due to the leather around the edges having some cracks. Unfortunately, being stored in a German warehouse for 15 years didn't help preserve them. They would have lasted longer being installed on a car.

By the way, your Imperial Red C43 is beautiful. It was one of the cars that inspired me to repaint mine in the coming weeks. Keep up the great work.

Hey I am always glad to hear that I inspired another w202 member to do something on their car . We need to keep these on the road.

Ultimately id love to reupholster the seats but right now the set I have is one half seat cover away from being n pretty darn good shape.

What did you end up doing wih the covers you purchased? Any pictures of them?

I don't know who bought my C43, but it came with my original seat cover that I replaced, and it was in pretty good condition. Maybe contact Dean Laumbach (https://www.instagram.com/deanlaumbachconsulting/?hl=en), who can contact the buyer and see if they're willing to sell.

Hello PJ,

Here are the pictures. I have two sets of lower seat bottom and seat back.

If you need me to have the color digitally matched by Home Depot then I’m happy to do so. That will give you a reference point if you decide to pursue the reupholstering route.

Cheers,
Sentinel55

I'm happy to chat, but unfortunately these are not for sale.

I think both of us plan on owning our W202's for many years to come. If these were to get installed, then in 5-10 years they'll look like every other C43 with worn-out two-tone leather seats.

What's our plan in 5 to 10 years from now? These are already discontinued and at that point there will be no other OEM options available.

I want to keep these as a reference for when you, me, or any other W202 C43 owner plans to reupholster their leather seats. A good upholstery shop should be able to make an exact match if they have the color code and are able to compare them with this new set.

Cheers,
Sentinel55

Theres a big shop that has the origonal mercedes schemes for all models and they can stitch brand new covers to match perfectly. I believe the name was gaat or something. Ive seen some of their work and its super nice.

They can also color match it too but i get what you are saying. I like to hang on nla parts my self.

If you change your mind please remember me as the first option .

I replaced my old seats about two years ago took off my oem torn up covers and sent them out to a place in Texas ,LSEATS 2 months later I received a almost perfect set of front seats
they used mine as a reference so no need to hold on to them lots of leather shops already have these and lots of other classic Benz models . I think you should just sell them to PJ they nice to have but if a forum member needs them do the right thing
just let them go , we all going to turn into hoarders , Just let the guy have them you already showed them to him and all of us on the forum which was a nice treat to see a oem set still new and well kept , let’s share the we all have the same interests in common . If I had a set that I didn’t need I would sell them specially to PJ he’s been one of the guys that keeps this forum alive and inspirational to lots of c43 owners , would be nice to start the year off on good note
