Ho do I get a replacement vin sticker(behind windshield)
Im getting different stories from the dealer.
Basically they told me I have to bring the car in for service and they have to order it and do it.
I also contacted the corporate office and classical center and they basically said to contact the dealer and that ti wont be easy.
Parts guy at the dealer didnt tell me how they do it and how much it costs.
Anyone have any experience?
My windshield is cracked so Ill be replacing it so Id wanna address the vin sticker, its scratched up.

Not sure there’s a replacement for vin number plates their made special with manifesto’s to keep track of product and to avoid TAGING cars
if a car was stolen and recovered they would REVIN with a special sticker vin that has a new recorded vin number from auto crime unit
after inspection of the car .

Getting a vin plate shouldn't be any harder than getting a new key for your car. this is ridiculous. I've talked to dmv, chp, dealer, online retailers....noone has a fukin clue

No more MB:(
Well it should be harder. Lots of fraudulent activities could occur if someone could easily print a vin plate. Criminals would have a field day. However I do think there should be a way to get one properly.

The OP should post his question elsewhere than this specific sub-forum page, perhaps like in the General Forums: https://mbworld.org/forums/general-forums-11/ this should get better coverage
