Where is the blower motor mounted?
I'm trying to find pics of where the blower motor is mounted. I've heard its mounted behind the dash from within the car. Is it accessible from the engine bay? Where does it pull air from?
The reason I ask is that i'd like to fit it into a 190e if it's suitable. The 190e blower is mounted from the engine bay, and I need to create some additional space. Moving it inboard would allow that. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could post pics!

What box are you referring to? I need to see pics for myself, otherwise none of this makes sense.

Its gonna be hard to get a decent pic because its in a odd location. Its sort of behing a glovebox and you remove it by taking off a panel thats above your feet in the passanger area.
Yes it does suck air in through the hood area above the ecu box. I had to remove mine because it siezed due to a water leak. I might have pics somewhere still

That's helpful, thanks. What I really should have asked for is pics of the dash out so I can see the whole lot and how it's installed.
It would most likely be easier to install the whole box with blower etc. The only issue is whether it would fit behind the 190e dash...
