Garagistic Subframe Bushings
The subframe bushings on my C43 are wearing out, and I've been looking into what to replace them with. Does anyone have any experience with the Garagistic polyurethane mounts? I come from BMW's, which seems to be what Garagistic specializes in, and their parts usually are considered to be "modifications required" type parts. I can't find anyone else that makes upgraded bushings though, so I'm wondering if anyone has tried them out and has an idea of what it takes to fit them. Or if anyone knows of another brand that makes upgraded bushings.
My car is 5.5 swapped with a manual trans and doesn't get driven easily, which is why I'm looking to upgrade instead of just replacing them with stock.

Probably out of luck, as there was never a big market for 202 performance upgrades. That's what people bought BMW's for. Only around 3400 C43's were built so even if all of those owners were clamoring for parts like this it's still a long shot.
I wish you luck.
What symptoms are you seeing from the worn bushings?

True, I guess I should cross post this in the regular W202 section. I might be a guinea pig and try them out and post results.
I get a clunk during quick shifts, and a bit of wheel hop in lower gears. Stiffer subframe bushings should tighten up the handling a bit as well without making the ride too harsh.

My subframe bushing are just. I get clunk sounds in the rear left and right side. I was quoted $1500 to change them as they said the rear subframe has to be removed to change them.
I saw a YouTube video where a guys changed the bushings by just lowering the the frame enough to be able to remove them. Then he squeezed them back in with a jack. Don't know how true this is but he did show it in the video, didn't hide anything....
My problem is I don't know which of the bushings are the ones that are shot. I believe there are four but not to sure.
Has anyone done these bushings themselves? And any links or tutorial on how to?

Well, my car has 325k miles on it so I don't see any reason not to just go for broke and drop ALL the suspension and rebuild the entire thing. If I learn anything I'll post

Were they noises from the bushings themselves, or did it transfer so much of the road imperfections into the chassis that everything inside started making noise?

As you know bro., those bushings loads so much!!!!,
i installed two poly's types with differ brands, got same results,
not that sure, but maybe the reason is the differing thickness between poly & rubber, as well as the flexibility!!,,
also depends how much weights & moving areas can those poly's handle over!!?!?
