Yeah the idea of a manual in the C43 could be tempting to some owners, but if I still had mine I would keep it as OE as possible, as I am still convinced that the value of these babies will increase over time, specially those in good to mint condition. A M113 55 conversion is acceptable as this was offered in the last versions and AMG conversion. Remember, they were not manufactured in stratospheric numbers, compared to more modern AMG vehicles.

Still have mine, still collecting parts here and there for it. Not much exciting going to happen with it in the near term unfortunately just due to other priorities.
I manual swapped mine....as well as 55 swap and Wavetrac LSD.
It's fun - but I sorta want a stock one now also!
Mine is a prime candidate for the mods, with 327k miles and ruined paint but no rust and and leather that looks like it only has 50k miles on it. I've already done the 55 swap at 300k miles (but I kept the original motor, it ran fine but needed a timing guide).
But my dream setup is to add the LSD and OEM 6 speed swap. I have a strong suspicion it'll be like a more reliable and slightly faster alternative to an e39 M5.
