how much drop did you get ? Also did you leave factory spring pads on ?

factory spring pads, cut extra set of AMG springs. Make sure if you go this route, when you cut, it fills spring same as it was stock. Tried, eibachs, h&r sports, but it was too low & i would it top fender liner. Also, tried stagg. Stiffer than bilstein, nice ride too. But, doesn't last a month.
Factory Springs, and Pads. Approximately 1.6" . Cut exactly 1 coil and 1/2 all 4. Then fit it perfect into spring pads. Bilstein Sport, Megan control arms, but you won't need em. They can do Alignment.

I had been looking for a C43 to join the garage, I was fortunate to locate a 1999 C43, early last year, that had the 55 swop back in 2013. It's a 5 footer, but a great driver that never fails to make me smile.

Nice collection Notwen,
I recall seeing one of your posting photos of the 3 on the UK forum.
I still very much enjoy the w202 body style albeit a tad smaller than our w210 amg. These w202s are quite peppy when they get some good HP and torque bundled into them.

Here is my 1998 C43 AMG running 18" BBS RX wheels on factory suspension setup with one notch drop on the spring pads. The car's options are listed below the picture. Even has the navigation system intact and working. Some other pieces are still missing but im in the process of sourcing them and putting the car back to original.

Thanks!! It is very clean with no rust. Just needs some minor touch up paint and a good cut n polish. And i have to source a couple of the missing parts for it and make it mechanically flawless.

Yep, its quite loaded. I still havent found a full list of available options on the 98 model. Might need to contact AMG directly.

Never heard of a C43 or any other W202 come with a navigation system from the Factory, but I may be totally wrong. Did this exist at the time, or perhaps it was just starting to come out on the market

This is an original factory option. But it might have come only in the late 90’s. It has a Becker APS4 head unit with 10 cd changer in the boot and a navigation processor and cd-rom inside the spare wheel.

Ill probably fit 10mm spacers in the back to get the a bit closer to the fender but the fronts i think sit nicely. Running 225/40-18 with great ride and no rubbing.
