Question to Jens:
What other brake rotors (discs) can be used on the front? The OEM ones are sooooo expensive

It's not really a cheaper alternative is for the C43 if you want something similar.
There are some people who have since tried out a lot.
Popey the user has altered his brakes on his C43, maybe you can ask him once he is satisfied with it.
Better than the original for the same money will not find you.
There are some good providers that offer a larger and visually beautiful brakes but the brakes will cost 700,-€....
Sorry

Thanks Jens,
Just one last question (for the moment
)....
Did AMG offer a LSD (limited slip differential) option for the 43?

was not officially offered slip differential for the C43.
I know but we in the former F1 Safety Car (was the CLK55 W208) had one installed.

yes that is correct and certainly one reason why the C43 is very dear to me as heart!!!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
Thank you!
you have been in the wheel arches provide space for something with these tires. but now there are no major body work needed.
if you want I can give you share the opinion of the restructuring measures are sending times (but only in German)
Regards
Jens

Are the fender rolling instructions the same as these?
https://mbworld.org/forums/4319330-post12.html
I have another question for you - what other 17" Mercedes wheels will fit over the C32/55/CLK500 front calipers and 345mm discs? I have these calipers and discs ready to install, and I have learned that they will clear the 17" and 18" Monoblock wheels with a 3mm spacer. But I'm wondering if these wheels will fit:

Auf Deutsch ist OK!
Ich habe ein jahre Deutsch studiert, im universitaet. While I've forgotten most of it now, I can probably still get train tickets to the right destination and order beer and a meal.

YES, the fender rolling instructions are the same as those,
but you´re not suppose to take of the front fender.

I THINK those W203 Sport package wheels will fit, as I understand some CLK500 owners use them, and that car has the 345mm discs.

I'm wondering because I may want to get rid of the 18s and go with 17s year around instead. I have the 17s for winter right now.

i don´t see any reason why the wheels should not fit with your c32 brakes.
unfortunately i don´t know anybody, or any of my friends who have done a similar construction like you just did...sorry.
but again, no problem from my side that this should work the proper way.

C43 AMG 5.5 - 396.4HP
the size of my AMG rims is:
front 8,5x18 ET25 with 225/40 ZR18
back 10x18 ET25 with 255/35 ZR18
front 8,5x18 ET25 with 225/40 ZR18
back 10x18 ET25 with 255/35 ZR18
Did you ever check your tires? Seems to be 225/40 and 255/40! Should have some trouble with ABS/ESP.
There is a LSD kit available from Kleemann.

that's an older picture. I had been given the mature and since I had not disturbed it was 255/40 instead of 255/35.
no, I never had problems with the abs / esp. the cruise control was not.
but there are long refit the right tires.
with the 255/40 tires me very well liked on the rear axle.
Regards
Jens
