Body parts for C43

Hey Guys,

I had a pretty rough incident last week where I was heading into work early and ended up having a buck fly out from behind a woodline, and we made contact. For the most part, it seems like nothing mechanical is wrong. However, I've got some pretty bad body damage. How much different are body parts from a regular W202 from the C43? I've read some about the bumper, but would the hood, fender, and door also all be specialty? I have a C280 Sport near me that I'm thinking about buying to part. But if anyone can give me some direction on what I should be looking for, I would greatly appreciate it. My C43 was always my dream, and I'm not going to let it die from this!

you'll need to save that bumper, as they're unique for the C43, very difficult to replace, and yours is already in better shape than most of the ones you'll find used

otherwise you can use stock w202 parts. The OEM C43 fender is slightly different in that it has hand-rolled edges around the wheel well. You likely won't even notice a difference, however.

I have parts from a C36 but I’m in Bolingbrook Illinois. I have hood.fenders, doors and the trunk.
All in great condition. And I can fix your bumper to new condition if you can ship it, just an option.

Hey speed, I'm super interested in that. I can definitely get my bumper shipped to you. You're actually not too far away from my friends who live out in Illinois, so maybe I can make an excuse to go visit them and pick up everything in one shot

I'll DM you, and let's get in contact about this

DO NOT get doors from a car thats older than a 98 since the inner shell is different. They dont have mounting points for side airbags.

Doors you need from a face lift model(98-2000). Fender and hood is the same. Only difference is amg fenders are rolled but that wont be visible and will not be an issue unles your car is lowered.

The hood is also different, it may fit but the pre faclift versions have a different design mostly noticeable when next to eachother.

That I wasnt aware of? Can you be more specific?

Trunk is different for sure but I thought hood is the same. The grille might be different but thats swappable either way.
