Apparently there's going to be a C450 now (in addition to C400)
Wow.

If the current c400 does 0-60 in 5 sec would it be fair to say this tweaked version with 4wd rear bias might do it in 4.5 or would the 4wd bog it down?..
Because if that 4.5 - 4.6 is going to be a a possibility the c63 would have to be constant 3.8 at minimum.. not sure how its going to do that on skinny rears.
Maybe the diff from SLS they suppose to slip in there would help it achieve that
Coupled with the 500 - 600 lbs predicted curb weight loss i guess it might work.
Either way, hope they deliver as its going to be hard parting with my current 2012 c63
Wow.

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I doubt we'll see the "AMG Sport" badge here in the States.
MB AMG is hyper-protective of the AMG brand here in North America.
BMW has had great success with the M Performance line of their cars(M135i,M235i, X5d M Performance and the like) because people see the M badge and think, 'it's an M car, and it's economical!' It waters down the brand but it brings in money. It has also allowed BMW to bring in a younger generation of buyers that are more likely to stay with the brand.
Personally, I'm glad the US won't be getting the AMG Sport Badging. This is a regular C-Class with a beefy engine and some suspension tweaks. Not an AMG.

I've had a few M Sport 335i sedans (both E90 and F30). I added every M Performance part available to my F30 because I wanted more power, better exhaust sound, more downforce, and better braking. Not because I was trying to pass it off as an M (like some folks unfortunately do).
I was proud that it said "335i" on the trunk.
As a matter of fact, back when I had my '10 E90 M Sport 335i, the dealer gave me E90 M3 floor mats (with "M3" embroidered on them) instead of just plain BMW ones.
I politely told him, "Get those ****in' things out of there, ASAP."

. Felt the same, put an M-sport bodykit on my e92. You could mod the N54/N55 engines to put out more torque than the m3, which I'm guessing is why enthusiasts were more proud to have a modded 335i than to have an m3.Mercedes hasn't made that mistake with AMG (yet), every single AMG car I've gotten in has completely blown away the base and intermediate models
