C43 Sedan Order?

Hi,

New to this site. I have owned an Infiniti G37 for the last few years, but I drove, and fell in love with, a C450 Sedan. I was going to buy a 2016, but since they are re-badging to C43 and adding 9-speed tran, I have decided to wait for 2017.

My local dealer has told me that I can now order one, but they don't have a price list yet. I have also seen, on this site, other folks ordering C43s.

What is the process of ordering when you have no pricelist? Are the folks ordering now just paying list price, or is there some strategy that I need to know.

Any feedback/advice is appreciated.

Thanks.......

Prior to ordering our C450 I negotiated a percentage discount off of MSRP. This was part of the initial dealer selection process.

I actually just put an order in for a C43 sedan about 2 weeks ago. I got 6% off MSRP plus fleet. If fleet stays at $2k off (which it should for the sedans) that would put me at about 10% off on a brand new 2017. I am fairly happy with the deal as I didn't have to haggle or shop around forever.

Kind of funny as well is that I am coming from a G37x Coupe like the OP.

That is what I was told. We will see come delivery time. It was explained to me that it could change month to month so there is no way to know 100% what it will be at delivery time.

So you guys that are getting an additional fleet discount. Is that because you are buying for a business, or are you just dealing with the fleet department at your local dealer?

The company I work for has the fleet relationship with MB, I just say "I'm employed at XYZ Corp" and they take the money off my car.

Nice, congrats on the purchase! I guess I will just have to wait until the end of the summer or early fall when pricing is available, so I have some numbers to negotiate with.

Base pricing is out already for the c43 and I would be surprised if the option pricing isnt out by early July. The first builds for the sedan are being built in early August and pricing needs to be out before the builds lock. I guess the coupe options could be slightly behind that though.

If I decide to place my order in July, will I still be able to get the car done by October, like other guys who ordered coupe?

The 2016 Sedans went to $2300 for June. The 2017 coupes are $500. There is no info yet on 2017 sedans (this is all for the C class)

The ways that I've heard of to get a fleet discount are to work for a company that has a relationship with MB (there are a good number of them, so check), be a member of USAA, be a member of PenFed, or be a Premier member of United's Mileage Plus program (or to be buying actual fleets of cars)

Just found out that, unfortunately, my company does NOT have a fleet relationship with MB. Ford, GM, Chrysler, yes, but MB, no. I guess I am SOL!

I ordered my C43 coupe and it had the option prices listed. Someone else in the forum posted his C63 coupe build sheet and it also has the option prices. So I think it is just a matter of asking your dealer directly.

I did ask them last weekend. They showed me some order sheets that they had ordered for the dealership. There were no prices on the sheet at all, no base price, no options pricing. They told me they have no prices yet for C43 sedan.

However, i have been able to find prices on this site, assuming they are accurate. I see a base price of the sedan coming in at $52,000. That is about $1,200 over the C450, which sounds reasonable.

$1200 increase in base for the c43 sedan

Wood Interior standard - $325
Review camera standard - $460

So $415 for the 9G, that sounds good to me.

Also, i cant figure out if heated seats are standard for 17, i dont see a standalone option on the dealer order guide. That option is for "heated and ventilated". So it may be even closer.

On the build sheet I have that the dealer sent me, 873 Heated Front Seats, are listed under standard accessories.
